I bought milk milk today at shoprite greytown .it expired on 4 december 2023 if i open it. It taste old

I bought green tea on the 23rd of September 2023 at shoprite westonaria on Sunday 08 October 2023 I want to drink my tea guess what it expired 2023 /02 /02 eight months so meaning they don't check their shelves it shows no inpectors who check shoprite will kill us guys I'm not happy at all I had to call them today cause I lost my slip they did trace my receipt I must go tomorrow for refund they inconvenience us customers I must use petrol now to go for refund they don't loose anything the only thing I will get is "SORRY" their number is 011 754 ****

I wish I could send pictures of what we bought, firstly they are rude. Just asking for someone to give you fresh food you get insulted. Why are we forced to buy left over food ? The bakery needs to improve, the dough is as hard as a rock(buy a rock bun today and prove me wrong). If not sure what to do it's better to ask or even visit Google. As customers we expect to see smiling faces but not with Shoprite in Randburg Square.

I went to Yarona shoprite in Kaalfontain Midrand at around about at around about 11:40 to 11:53.. when i reached at the tills they was only one person infront of me . By the time the cashier finished assisting the client , she the said to me , "hurry up because i want to go to the toilet, if you make slow you will have to use the next till because i am already closed , .. i asked her if it was necessary for her to tell me she wanted to go to the bathroom and the other thing she didn't put a sign written closed and she doesn't have a name badge. She remained unapologetic and didn't bother to say sorry.. she is very rude. She asked what was i gona do and i told her to call for me her Superior. Her superior by the name Belitha came , and she had to listen to our storry, she told the cashier to apologise because she was wrong. She didn't bother saying sorry and even wanted to leave before the issue was resolved.. i asked my self , who will i be if someone fails to respect her manager and the mamager was very professional but it seems like she was out of words bcs the cashier didn't back off bieng unapologetic.. i ended u leaving with a bleeding heart. I wonder how many people have been victimised and they cant voice for themselves, that was the most terrible behavior and service i can witness in my life. She needs to be thought how to self police her self as they is high unemployment and take her Job crs.i feel like this is a disgrace to big brand like shoprite.. her name is Sthembile Mhlongo the name is on the slip. Earliertoday I went to Shoprite Cash and Carry in Pta West to get a few stuff. I reside in Kirkney Village so it's convenient for me in terms of distance. While standing in the queue the cashier Cal's the manager for assistance, what happened afterwards left me pissed off. She told the cashier (loud enough for everyone to hear) "gako bereka Wena le meriri yago nkga, mabane ntse ke arametse monkgo wa moruti wago...Fotshek" I'm a regular customer of the store. This is not the first time I see her (Branch Manager Deliwe) being rude to the staff in fort of customers, but today's incident took the cup. I left my groceries at the till point and left because I was seething with anger and I do not know what I could have done if I confronted her. I felt sorry for the Cashier (Hulisani) to be embarassed like that in front of people. She (the cashier) appeared presentable with braids tied in a bun. I swore after today to never buy from any Shoprite store. Something must be done. How do I report the matter to the Customer Service of Shoprite?

On the 31st of December 2023 at 13:40 I brought 24 Hunters extreme for (419) at your Alex plaza store and it happened that I lost my customer copy receipt but I bought with my bank card.What was crucial upsetting about the whole situation is there manner of approach I got from the security guard when I asked if I could see i manager hence I wanted to explain my situation...Then got disrespected by the manager claiming he cannot help, he can't retrieve my transaction sow I should take my things and leave,in the mindst of that my friend accidentally heard the store supervisor telling the managers that he shouldn't help us.why should we get such behaviour from your staff ain't they there to assist in situations like this rather taking things personal...what happened was really unacceptable

I was at shoprite three rivers yesterday and was searched on suspicion of theft which came from a white people that was in your store. Security searched me in full view of customers. I was told that it was their right to search me and I must comply

I was doing my shopping like I always do in Shoprite every month and I went by the cashier (named jermaine )to pay for my stuff ,he then produced to ask me for my number and I did not give him I told him that I am engaged but he still did not budge he wrote his number on the slip and told me to message him which I threw away after refusing to give my number he was very rude to me he said to me "you think i cant get you " i honestly feel threatened to go back to that mall because of him.i will post it on every complaint site that i can because it is completely wrong of what hes doing

Hi I visited Shoprite as a normal customer ,I approached the till to pay for my stuff I was assisted by a boy named jermaine He is one crazy person He kept on flirting with me and asking me for my number I then continued to tell him I a married but he didn't listen He then took my number from the system as I was paying my account Now I feel like my information has not been kept a secret and the employees can get ahold of it at anytime

This morning I bought groceries at Shoprite in Crystal Park(Benoni). Unfortunately the cashiers charges me double on 1 item. I then go to query even before I leave the store. He was extremely extremely rude, went as far as clicking his tongue and telling me to take pictures and videos of him. Apparently his name is Bafana Ntuli. He showered no remorse for his mistake and even with the Manager in presence he continued to be disrespectful.

The service at somerset west shoprite its not up to standard. I asked for a cash back at the till the cashier tells me they have a limit of 1000. Ok I go and ask the branch manager she tells me they have a limit of 3000 at this moment I ask her to please find a till that can help me coz the cashier that I asked says she can only give 1000. She is busy on her cell phone this whole time I'm talking to her with out a care in the world. She says well then if she says its a 1000 that means all the till have 1000. And it's like she can't wait for me to go. Ok I stepped out and then called the help like and talked to any agent I think she heard my talk with the agent she quickly come out and stand close to where i was then she went to the phone and come back and talked to one of the cashiers to give me 3000 and I wanted 4.200 but no she said no at this point she was spiteful. So this has been my experience at shoprite for sometime now there is always an excuse why they can't give me cash back but today was the boiling point. And why isn't there a sign that tells u how much u can get so that u can make another plan something.with out wasting your time.the branch manager in somerset really needs people skills or customer service training.

I was sold expired food product When I returned it I was laughed at and bullied by shoprite staff including there managers

I recently baught a pair of school shoes for my child at Shoprite, Greenacres in Port Elizabeth. The shoes unfortunately, cut open the back of her feet at the edges, I tried letting her wear them for a few days but it only got worse. I finally had to buy another pair elsewhere, as shoprite did not have any other shoes, only the specific make that I already bought. I than took the shoes back hoping to get a refund, the employees at the customer service counter told me since my child wore the shoes I can't get my money back, they wanted me to take another pair of shoes, of which I explained they did not have anything else in store. They called the branch manager and he said I can't get a refund as this is the case at any other shop. What dissapointed me the most, is not the incompetence of the staff as there was another gent in front of us which they also couldn't assist with an exchange even though they were three ladies at the counter , but the fact that they called the manager twice and he didn't even bother to speak to me as the customer. I have been a loyal Shoprite customer for so many years, and have never received this kind of treatment from any other store. I am very disappointed in the customer service of Shoprite Greenacres. I asked the Admin Manager what I'm supposed to do with the shoes now coz my child couldn't wear them, she said the manager asked her what is he supposed to do with those shoes coz he can't sell them, it's useless to him. It is not my job as a customer to explain to a store employee how they should do their job, to my knowledge you are supposed to contact that specific supplier, as it's not a store product to forward my complaint, not to ask me as the customer what must you as a Branch Manager do. Furthermore, the employees continued to ring up their own personal items bought at the store, whilst I was waiting to be helped. I was utterly disgusted at the treatment I received today. I expect further steps to be taken as I am not the only one who has had problems with Shoprite, Greenacres, Port Elizabeth. This is not the way to do business.

Went to Shoprite naledi today and my phone was stolen while shopping. Security and management couldn't care less

I was at the shop at clayville at liquor store shop right between 19:00 to 19:30 one of the staff insulted me in front of the suppervisor, I have reported the matter to the supervisor but the man said he is not involved please advise
